OTTAWA, ON. (NEWS 1130) – Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, are visiting Canada this fall. Governor General David Johnston announced the visit this morning in the nation’s capital.
Their tour will take them to both BC and the Yukon. It’s the royal couple’s second visit to Canada. Their first was in 2011 and took them to Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, Charlottetown, Summerside, Yellowknife, Slave Lake and Calgary.
“Once again, Sharon and I will be delighted to welcome Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to Canada,” says Johnston. “Their Royal Tour will take them to the beautiful province of British Columbia and the scenic territory of Yukon. Our true Canadian pride and spirit will shine and be at the very heart of this visit so they can feel at home.”
